I created this guy last year. I really like him and I might incorporate him into a new project I am working on. He was originally made in an aceo.

I have a new hooked art doll in my shop

I am finally ready to let go of her, but I really like her. You can read all about her here, in my shop.

I finished another art doll, I think she turned out cute. I think I like her being a little "fatter" than my first one.


I finished my hooked pillow over the weekend. Just in time for fall.
Now I'm off to make some colorful hooked hearts.

Art Doll

I made this for my friend, you know who you are. I made it for a trade that I instigated, tee hee! I made two, and I really like how they turned out. Simple and very fun to make.

My small hooked rug piece

I still need to finish it up by either stuffing it like a pillow, or making a hanging out of it. It measures 12 x 8 inches.

Door to my studio

I really have to do something about this door. It's the door to my studio, it doesn't look like a door to a studio...... it was just painted a barnyard sort of red that I love. I need EMBELLISHMENTS!

It's Possible

I am getting ready for the weekend. It's beautiful here in Seattle. I feel so sorry for the people in Hurricane's way. Prayers go out to my art friends and others in possible harms way.

I have been creating art with rug hooking. I am working on a small halloween piece now. I hope to get some more done on it over the weekend.

Journal front and back

Remember the journal cover front I posted a while back?

I completed the back of it today. There is packaging tape over the top of it to give it a nice protective finish, so it may not have photographed as brightly with the tape over it.

"It's not how smart you are, it's about your character that counts".

In the forest

Measures 11 x 14 inches, gallery wrapped canvas. This piece has more softer colors than my other pieces. But I like how it turned out! ~ available

More pages in my journal

I have been working away in my journal today. Celeste from my art group suggested I make post cards of my journal pages to sell in my shop. I really liked that idea so I have been busy making more pages and journaling. It has been a very therapeutic day, journaling away in my journal. I LOVE days like this when I am in the "zone".

Ok,,,, back to my journal....
