The first three photos were taken through windows in a gallery in North Carolina. I don't know the name of the artist or the gallery, but Jim knew I would love these! I painted my own interpretation of them in my small leather journal. I used acrylic and graphite. I love the whimsy of these, especially the larger one on the top.

OOOOHHH! I love your interpretation of these owls. Great job. I don;t know what it is about owls, but I can't get enough of them :)
I feel the same way. In fact, I will be painting more of them.
How cool is this!! I love your owls!!
The pocket on the left side/page of the journal, has caught my eye as well :]
Love the owls! both yours and the ones in the gallery!
Cute little owls. I like your work! I admire painters of all types, as I can only draw with graphite. Black and white gets so boring =(
Love your inspiration...the owls are amazing...so much character!!!
Thank you everyone, I love owls, we have one near our back yard that hoots in the early morning hours. I love that sound!
You have made me fall in love with owls...Thank you Tara. Please show case some more soon.
