If you have been following my work for a while you know how much I love color. Bright colors! Well today was different. I created this piece from a song I was listening to by George Strait called "Check yes or no". It's a really sweet song, you should hear it, if you haven't already. Anyway, I was compelled today to show this piece in black and white. I am shaking up my world a little bit at a time and it feels great! Let me know what you think of the black and white version.

Cool pages. I miss the color, because I also love bright colors, but it is fun to see the b&w version. It is also good to "shake things up" every now and then. Thanks for posting this.
As much as I love color....black and white has always held a huge appeal for me! My journals are almost completely b&w. Love the new work!
