Wall Hanging

I finished this great portrait wall hanging a couple of days ago. It was really fun to make each face. It measures 24 x 24 inches and is on heavy duc canvas. I'm hoping to make another one when this one sells and keep one for myself. Have a great week.

I've been working on many projects

Here's a peek at some of the art I've created lately. Right now I am passionate about my art dolls. They are called Snippets of Soul Stories. Each one has a story. Some available paintings

I have been busy creating new paintings and getting ready for a gallery opening in June in Salem which I plan to be a part of. It's a new adventure and will be an "Eclectic" sort of event. Meanwhile I have these paintings available.

 "Mother" 8x10 inches and on gallery wrapped canvas. I used lots of texture in the background, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, and an image copied on cotton fabric for mother in the background. It's ready to hang.

These paintings are created on canvas board and measure 5 x 7 inches. They are also available.

Painting the blank page, and a guy in my journal

This is another page I created recently. I used collage papers in the hand bound journal that I made. I start all my pages by creating a watercolor wash on the pages so I am not faced with the overwhelming "blank page". Sometimes I am happy enough with all the pages painted in brilliant, vibrant colors, and I don't need to paint anything else on them! I find plain white pages a little intimidating to start work on.

New painting, mixed medium, collage

Created on 140 lb watercolor paper, collage elements, acrylic I really enjoyed working with collage again, it adds interesting elements to my painting.
