Aceo's are available

I have been slowly getting back into creating some art for sale. I will still work in my art journal as I challenge myself to create art to sell as well. I am offering some aceo's in my shop now.

Abundance

"Abundance". An extremely plentiful or over sufficient supply. This is what I am feeling today. I am so blessed and I am so lucky! Thank you.

Reconnecting

Here is another page from my journal. The journal measures 5 x7 and this painting is small. It is created mostly by watercolor and Pan Pastels. As I revisit this page I am reminded of old love, new love, and the possibility of finding ourselves once again.

Journal page

Created in a small journal. I am working in this journal with one of my artist friends, Syd. We have been working in it since last year. I have one of hers as well. I always think the project will go by very fast, and life gets in the way, and we are still working in them. I like that though, no time constraints, just doing what feels right.

I have been working in my watercolor journal again. These pages were made with watercolor, graphite, and some Pan Pastels. It's nice to get back into my journals but I long for texture and depth.  The second submission is influenced by an exhibit of "Carnival" that I saw at the Burke museum over the weekend.  I love masks.  Perhaps I have been hiding behind one all of this year.  Recovering, exploring, and finding myself once again.. xo...

Letting go of attachment to outcome

Always reminding myself to let go of attachment to outcome.
Just live in the moment, no expectations....

I dream in colour

This moment is the start to all my other moments, I chose to dream in colour, I chose to think "big" bigger than myself, and I chose to offer a smile to the stranger on the street corner.

Not always about color

If you have been following my work for a while you know how much I love color. Bright colors! Well today was different. I created this piece from a song I was listening to by George Strait called "Check yes or no". It's a really sweet song, you should hear it, if you haven't already. Anyway, I was compelled today to show this piece in black and white. I am shaking up my world a little bit at a time and it feels great! Let me know what you think of the black and white version.
