Valentine!

One of the best things about receiving a card from Kim is her packaging. Everything is so tidyly arranged in a cute little envelope and tied with a danty string. Its hard to open it, as to not destroy the cuteness of it all, but inside awaits more illustration treasures. Kim is a wonderful artist, illustrator, photographer! Thank you Kim!

Valentine!

I received this wonderful mixed media valentine from Syd today. It is machine stitched, beaded, and a wonderful old fashioned image is added on the back. Thank you Syd.

"In the Hood with Trees"

I found some canvases on sale at our University Bookstore. This measures 6 x 12 inches and I really like the size. It is perfect for my "Neighborhood" series. It is for sale in my shop. I also bought some new cobalt teal acrylics, which I love. I'm not sure if the background will look like teal on your monitor, but it does on mine.

Feb calendar

Just starting my Feb calendar, here is a part of it.

January 2007

I like to keep a colorful calendar. I add my thoughts, my drawings, whatever else moves me. Each day is a reminder of what I did. January was a very SLOW month.
