Created on 8 x 10 gallery wrapped canvas over muslin for texture. I like the theme of "dress up" since my favorite time of year is right around the corner. I'm thinking of fall, costumes, Halloween, and trick or treaters. When my son was little around the age 0f 3-4, he would always wear a cape. I think he must have worn a cape for about a year, along with his little green rubber boots. He would have slept in them if I would have let him. Capes and dressing up have such a special meaning for me.

What a sweet story about Alex! You should do more art with capes! I really love these pieces you're doing that have the fabric pieces (?) behind the paintings- the texture is great!
thank you Corey. I like the texture too, but it adds another day to dry. I'm never quite that patient.
