Emma has a secret

"Emma has a secret"
I created this mixed media piece on 12 x 24 inch gallery wrapped canvas. This is a large piece for me. I am getting more used to making larger pieces. I think one of the hardest things is to figure out how to ship larger pieces. Well, if I sell it that is. I really like this one so it will be hard to part with. But that's ok, I can make another one, right? The muslin background gives it depth and texture.

oh, she's really cute! I bet she works well in the larger size. I would wrap the whole thing in bubblewrap, then put a piece of cardboard/foamboard on either side to protect the canvas. Or moving places sell "mirror" boxes as well. Or, take it off the stretcher bars and sell it unstretched!

That secret appears to be making Emma angry! With those gritted teeth, it's a wonder that little bird still feels safe with her.

Great one! I admire you working larger and going out of comfort zones.
