Rug Hooking Show

I took the day off and went to the rug hooking show. It was fabulous! There were rugs, wall hangings, primitive art, great food, nice people, vendors with wool to sell and supplies, and lots of free donated wool. There was even a raffle and free lunch and desserts! Here is just a small sample of some of the rugs. I wish I could have taken photos of more.

These were really cute, small faces about 4" x 4".

...and beautiful wool...

handmade primitive art...

...and great desserts....

If you ever get a chance to go to a rug hooking show, go,,, you will see amazing art, and things you have never seen before.

Drats...I missed it! Was that the only day to buy rug hooking supplies or is that all week? Will you be at AFF next week?

Thank you everyone! I'll be at AFF for vendor night.

Melissa, yes, I got some free wool, and I bought some too. I also got a very nice hook, and some dolls from my artist friend Sharon Baker.
Thanks Marianne!
