(illustration by Jean McConnell)I have been frantically getting ready for teaching and being a student at Artfest. So much to do when you teach and participate as a student. I have 5 sections in my studio all laid out for the event. I have two piles of supplies for two classes I am taking. I have one pile of supplies for the class I am teaching,,,big piles,,,,,,wood torsos 3' tall, and paint, and canvas,,,,and....still creating art to sell on vendor night. I feel like I'm right on target though. Next week I still need to pack, clothes, and wine,,,,,and....fun,,,,,fun!!!!

You are so organized, I know everything will go off without a hitch! So sorry I won't be there to take your class, but I am looking forward to hearing all about it! My friend, Catherine Russell will be taking the class.

I thought I would have time this weekend to post photos of the lodge and painting. But there is just not enough time! Where does the weekend go?
