Some new journal pages and watercolor fun
As you notice I am quite smitten with watercolor these days. I love finding papers and journals that work best with this medium. My acrylics have been resting patiently on my studio table waiting for me to come back to them!
If you are having fun with watercolor by all means, enjoy them!! You are doing such beautiful work. I love your pages. These should be shown in a gallery in Soho or anywhere for that matter. Continue!
I'm enjoying them very inspiring and so full of life!
Oh and by the way, I'm curating a show of 13 artist and I really wish you were one of the artists here present your awesome work. I will one day, that's how much I'm in love with them.
You have something special here real special and hope you know how lovely all your work is. In the summer I be curating another gallery show and hope you can be part of it and visit and join the others. I will send you invite in case you might want to show. I know you live far away but hey it be a fun trip.
Your journal pages are really cool! I noticed you use portrait oriented journals. If the paper is watercolor, what is the name of the journal. I know Moleskin only makes them in landscape, and I am having a dickens of a time finding watercolor journals in portrait format.
Hi Karma, These are not watercolor paper. I texturize the pages to make them extra sturdy. But I will soon have an announcement of some new papers/artist journal that will be coming out shortly with watercolor pages. Stay tuned...
Great new pages Tara. I just wanted to say hello. I just found you through my new Artful Blogging mag and wanted to thank you for your wonderful tips that you shared... like the translation side bar and copyright etc. I look forward to getting to know you better through your blog as I truly enjoyed your article. Have a wonderful day.

Loving these, especially your use of color.
Beautiful colors...I also love watercolor...but recently learned that acrylic goes well on watercolor paper too...pretty cool!
