More photos from Alberta Street, OR

I love Alberta Street in Portland, Oregon. So many great art shops. Even the trash cans have art flair! The HiiH shop is one of my favorite shops.

HI Tara,

I came here from FB, and just love your blog. When you posted the trash can earlier, I just couldn't take it. I love Portland, and hope to get back there soon. My Grandmother lives in Salem and I visit about every two years. I am so excited you shared this street with us, and I will have to go explore on my next visit!

Thanks so much for your fb friendship, and I so look forward to getting to know you here!

Cheers!

Tara--if you had only one day to spend in Portland--would Alberta Street be where you went? I'll be in Oregon in May and will only be in Portland one full day. What would you do? Thanks in advance for your answer!!

Thank you Daniele, so nice of you to visit. I'll be posting some more soon!

Janet,,,,, so hard to say because I haven't visited many areas. I have heard the pearl district is cool. When the Sat market is open, I hear that's a must see too!

Thank you for your visit!

We have an area of Bristol filled with artwork too. Some of Banksy's first art pieces are still there on the walls. I remember when they were hated by the City Council and called a mess! ;o)

Hi Tara -
I didn't realize you were a Portlander! I am as well - in fact I was just down on Alberta last week. I love that neighborhood. Thanks for the post.

Janet - I agree with Tara's comments-Portland Saturday Market is a MUST! There are so many great areas, it is tough to choose just one.
