Escaping artist block

I am escaping many days of artist block. I can't seem to focus on what I want to create. When that happens I turn to my journals. My journals are filled with paint, acrylic, collage, text, markers, and graphite. After I create the spread I often go back and fill in the rest with my journal thoughts. This process takes days or weeks but I am always happy when I feel it is "finished".

We all get that block from time to time. It always passes. Love your art work!

Hey Tara, Good Morning!!!

Hmmmm art block! Know that feeling! It's frustrating but hey, what's a good way to get passed this -journaling. And that's exactly what you are doing and look at what you have created so far. A few or more of these babies you are back on track! Sorry If I'm giving too much of the pep talk but can't help myself especially when the artist I dig so much is having one of those little art crisis that will soon pass. You are brilliant!! I MEAN THAT!! You inspire so many people and I'm your biggest fan. When I first saw your work it blew me away. You inspire me!! They are aren't only portraits on paper filled with color. Your paintings are poetry on canvas, a dance, each stroke is music of Mozart - It's elegant, dreamy, dark, loud, playfully inviting story telling, it pulls me again and again. especially when you allow yourself to be completely naked with your heart. Remember the painting you purchased called Honey where your heart burns and rest well, you have a lot of that if not more so let it rip!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out! Ms Chagal is coming!!

Here's to you Ms Chagal!!
