Lollipop

Lolipop
Sometimes I document my progress on my paintings. I wish I had done that with this painting. She started out with just a straight body and was holding a little tree in her hand. Then I painted a bathing suit bottom on her,,, then it didn't seem right to be holding a tree,,,so I thought of a lollipop instead. From there I decided she needed a bathing suit top,,,,and some water around her to show she is at the beach with her inner tube. (Sort of an evil faced inner tube, don't ya think?):) I never know where my paintings will take me, they sort of evolve on their own.

Fabulous to hear how she evolved!

I made my first fiber paste painting today after seeing your paintings and how awesome they look with fiber paste texture I wanted to try it out.
It sure was different than what i'm used to using, but I really like it!!
